Conversation pieces
Got any? Got something in your home or just something you own that always attracts attention, that people always seem to zero in on and ask about... like "What is that?" "Where did you get it?"
I don't have much like that now, but before when I lived a very rustic life, I had allot of very odd antique farm tools and such on display.
Right now I just have a very old cookie jar in the kitchen that's been passed down from Grandmother, to my mother, to me.

Re: Conversation pieces
I have many heirloom pieces handed down through the generations of my family. Since they are very old, I don't want them to break, secondly... not into clutter and them becoming dust collectors. I don't know if it's due the different generations, but my parents are into the 'fancysmancy, knick knacker, dust collectors' they have around their house, whether it's the expensive artwork, furniture, etc.
