Oh please, tell me more!
Did you hear about the (sort of sexy) school teacher that was fired for taking a paid sick day to appear on the Howard Stern tv show, wearing only a bikini? She was accompanied by her very portly husband. Howard ask her to tell all about her sex life and that's exactly what she did!!
The school district where she is employed, has seen fit to fire her for violating the terms of her teaching contract and for her taking a paid sick day to be on that tv show.
How do you feel about this? Do you think she had every right to do anything she wanted with her day off? Should she put on a few pounds? Should she jettison her Pillsbury dough boy husband and hook up with a more buff gentleman? Should she maybe broaden her career scope to include adult oriented entertainment?

I think any school has the right to include some sort of morality clause when hiring teachers.
If this teacher wants to be some sort of non-celeb celebrity, she chose the wrong career to launch from.
What one does on their day off, privately and discreetly is one thing, when a teacher takes her sex life public in this fashion...sorry, she's too dumb to be teaching anyone anything.

On top of that, she's suing the school district for her dismissal. I'm sure the teachers union is backing her all the way!

I used to work in the school system and sick days were for just that, when you were sick. If we were caught taking them just for pleasure we were reprimanded.
Also, it is my opinion that those teaching our children should set a moral example. Taking your sex life public is not the kind of example I would want my children to be shown.
As for her dumping her husband I guess that is her decision to make but the size and looks of anyone certainly does not determine what kind of spouse they are.

If you saw the pic from the HS show, the rather caloricaly challenged dude to her left is her loving husband. In my opinion? He's as f*ckin' stupid as she was for going on that show in the first place. All this sh*t for what? A couple of thousand $$?
You know they both knew what Howard was going to ask them and what the subject matter was. Before she got home, portions of the show were already on YouTube. If she's that f*ckin' stupid to do it, she's way to f*ckin' stupid to be a school teacher! And besides......her husband, portly paul, is a fat slob but I'm sure a loving husband and only wants what's best for her!!

As you know I'm a teacher and it doesn't say i can't appear on a sex show in my contract, yes i actually checked it!!!
But seriously, i do agree with you Chazzy, i mean, taking a sicky and popping off shopping or just wanting a day off is one thing, as we all do that, but you don't broadcast ya sex life on telly for all to see, you have to take responsibility for the students you teach and their parents who might see you. Also what kind of respect will she lose from those students when they hear about or see the show

I also agree with Irishwoman, I really don't see where the size or physcial appearance of the husband has any bearing on the actual event and story.

I agree, what two adults do in private is up to them, but to air their dirty laundry in public is very sad...these shows are becoming popular and I compare them to the roman arena or public hangings, the saddos who watch these shows, watch it for weird reasons!!...not my kinda thing. As for teaching children, respect has been lost and I wouldnt want her teaching my children!! as trust is also an issue.
