We all need our own "freedom" taking the individual time being alone, along with spending time together as a couple, that is if I was part of a couple. It reinforces your self identity, and the relationship you're in as a couple, keeping it a healthy bond between the two. I'd go batty if I didn't have some alone time, and I'm sure that goes both ways. You can't be crammed up someone's  24/7!
