computer question???????
Today for the first time since I've been a member, I saw my nickmane: hothands pre-typed in the sign in square on the login page. is this normal proceedure now? is everyone else like that? I dont like it, I would rather type in my own user/nickname. I wonder how to change it back?

? maybe you turned on "autocomplete" while trying to fix your chat problem.
to fix (if you are using MSIE.
Open Tools, Internet Options.
1. Delete your cookie files.
2. click Content Tab.
3. Click Autocomplete button.
4. Click "clear forms" button.
5. Answer "yes"
If not using IE, then you are screwed (or need help from someone else)

This is one of the new features we're adding, a cookie which remembers your nickname for easier login. We'll be able to turn that off, but it's not implemented yet.
Don't panic because there are some major changes coming this week

You can't turn it off yet, but we'll add it in My Preferences under My Account tab soon.

When someone says this week or next week or the week of the 17th or 24th I always think its going to be the monday of that week, (How silly of me) I guess after all these years, I should realize that means anytime after this week

I have a program called "internet sweeper", it's a freeware program I downloaded from majorgeeks.com, I noticed after I used it tonite, I had to type in my username, like before. You'd have to use the program,(it only takes a few seconds to run) after every log off.

Yep! It's a site feature!
You might want to check into the "sweeper" programs though. They not only get rid of allot
of unecessary garbage files, but they also erase
your "internet tracks" to protect your privcy.
