things to make you think...DUHHH!!!
have you ever read anything in the newspaper, and thought...DUHHH!!! what were these writers thinking when they wrote that?...
i read a little story of a man (i can't remember where). Police were called to his residence for a domestic disturbance...he apparently threatened to have his pet python attack his girlfriend...when the cops arrived, he then apparently told the snake to "sic them"...the DUHH? the story ended with the following line..."luckily for the officers, snakes are not very obedient"...
in a different story, from my home town news...police received many calls from people reporting "cougar sightings" in town, no big deal right? the DUHH? the final line of the story..."if you spot any animal that you think may be a cougar, please call the authorities, DO NOT APPROACH THE ANIMAL, SAYING "HERE KITTY, KITTY, KITTY"...

There is some story on CNN about a guy trying to pull off a robbery with a palm frond....he was thwarted and chased off with a bar stool...yep, they have video surveliance footage.

Fox News reports on a story of a man accused of killing 8 people, possibly with an axe...they show a clip of him being escorted from the courthouse, in cuffs, surrounded by sheriffs, all in uniform..."that's him, in the orange outfit"....no kidding? i thought he was the officer on the left, the one with the mustache...
