I hope eveyone is having a good day
So like I said I hope everyone is having a good day and your all taking your dad out for lunch are dinner and remember to tell him you love him. I just wish my dad was still around to say that too as I miss him not just for today but everyday , he's been gone since 2000 and I do miss him. So remember to tell him that you love him as you never know what will happen like my dad. Sorry if I sound sad , and to everyone else have a good one.

Don't worry about sounding sad, you sound like a good son.
I just tried calling my daddy, he wasn't home, gonna keep trying till I get a hold of him, already sent him a card that I'm sure he got a few days ago.
There must be allot of us who have parents in those "Twilight years" now, just the thought that their earthly journey is nearing it's end is very unsettling to me.
I see them and call them as often as possible, and think about them constantly. When they were younger, and I was very young, I couldn't have enough independance away from them...now it's so different and the 40 miles between us is much too much.
