Unlocked photo albums
Myself, and another WN member found that our private photo albums had been unlocked without our permission yesterday.
Considering how serious this is, I would suggest any of you with images set as private to check whether they have also been hacked or not.
I've asked WN to tell me what has happened. An individual's privacy is not only a right, but is legally protected.

I had to re-lock them myself. It was only pointed out to another WN member by someone who knew their albums were meant to be locked. I was told, then checked mine which were also unlocked.
Not good.

It will be taken care of as soon as possible. I'll send him a note myself to make sure.
Please show some patience, absix and unf work hard here and are very dependable and quite competent at what they do...but just like the rest of us, they do have families, a life, etc...and do occasionally take a day off on a weekend, this is a holiday weekend (father's day) and I wouldn't be at all upset if they are spending this time with family ...to me, that would be very acceptable.
Not to say this problem isn't important, it's very important and unf will be all over it as soon as he can, I can assure you that.

Thank you for reporting the problem InnocentIvory...and anyone with private albums, please check and if needed...lock them. I can promise all of you it will be taken care of as soon as possible.

I would also like to add that we not assume that this is a "hack job" here, there could be other explanations, I know for a fact that some freaky things can happen online that have nothing at all to do with any hacking ....at this time I cannot say for sure what has happened, that is something only abs and unf can tell us.
Please be patient, and please be confident that unf will be able to clear all this up.
If you feel at all uneasy, I can only suggest that you might feel better if you change your password, change it often if you like until the problem is found and solved.
I can guarantee you, absolutely guarantee you that abs and unf make this site's security the top priority.

I don't see any problems with the albums, but I'll monitor them to see if I'll find out something about this issue.

I can't see there being a solution to this, so I've deleted my photos anyway. If the folders have been hacked once, it could easily happen again. And I don't want my private pics appearing elsewhere on the internet or getting into the wrong hands.
I'd suggest anyone else who values the privacy of their personal images to do the same.

Your albums can't be hacked. I'm sure there is simple explanation about what happend, but since you have removed your albums now there is no way to find that out.
If anyone else is having similar problems, please send me a message.

This may not be so weird, she may have had her preference clicked to "No" on this setting....

If anyone notices something "odd" ....please don't hesitate to just write and ask about it, there could be a pretty simple and logical explanation for it and there's nuttin' wrong with asking questions, for sure! We're all too happy to take the time to hear and answer all your questions and comments.

Personally, I check my profile daily, and delete all incoming/outgoing correspondences in my mailbox daily.

If a person has their profile invisible from the get go, has never posted anything in the forums, you won't be able to add them to your naughty list and you won't find them.
