To this day, I'll never forget a week I had many moons ago, the domino effect had taken it's place... AND it wasn't just one uh oh.
Hubby(ex), was on another one of his regular business trips and I was home alone with my family when the outburst of uh oh's began...
Starting with the hot water tank rupturing, spewing water ALL over the cellar, then...
As I was painting a room, and the paint spilled ALL over the hardwood floors, then...
My next door neighbor rang my doorbell explaining he ran over to put my car in park. My car had rolled down the driveway a few inches (as I was using the bathroom), and through this whole scenario, one of the tires, slightly rolled over one of my family members little feet (they were trying to move it a tad to wash it for me to show they loved me) and they were okay, thank goodness! then...
The Finale... I was in a car accident (not my fault, no one was in the car with me, with no injuries to no one involved) AGAIN... thank goodness!.
I cleaned up all the water in the cellar, ordered and had a new hot water tank installed, cleaned up the mess from the paint on the hardwood floors and finished painting the room, made sure my family member was okay, and took care of all the fine details of the car accident, prior to hubby returning from his business trip. After that week, I really needed a vacation, or business trip!
Now if that isn't a week of uh oh's I don't know what is... talk about feeling guilty...I felt soooo bad!
