what's wrong with just making friends?
i've noticed that alot of people join this site to meet people . then if they don't get any action after a couple of weeks, or months, they quit. don't they seem to realize that they WON'T find a buncha nicer people to become friends with?
i'll admit it, when i joined, i was just looking to get laid . but i didn't have much luck with that. but i stuck around anyway, cuz i've made such great friends here. and i've met a few members here. a not just for sex, either, and STILL had a great time. so tell me? what's wrong with hanging out and making friends?

Re: what's wrong with just making friends?
Nothing wrong with that hon. Actually that is why I like this site. I've met a lot of very nice people where I can show my pics, look at others, and have lots of fun while making new friends . Pretty cool.

Live life for what it is today, not for tomorrow! A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself, and accepting you just the way you are!

Re: what's wrong with just making friends?
About the same story here also. Started because we wanted to find another woman to share our experiences with. But we have found lots of very hot, sexy and beautiful women , not for sex, but for lasting friendships. Oh yea the guys we have meet are great also. Yes we have meet a few people from here in person, not for sex, but for friendship . We couldn't ask for more. We have no intentions of leaving either.

Re: what's wrong with just making friends?
making friends is good and all, but so far what we are getting is nothing, we have been on this site for months now, first as standard members and now our 1 month membership is expiring and still nothing, no friends, no messages and no attention at all, what's good with that?

Re: what's wrong with just making friends?
Posting in the forums and spending time in the chat rooms are probably the best way to get attention. Be more vocal and you'll likely see more people viewing your profile.
Off to go take a look now...

Re: what's wrong with just making friends?
I agree. Forum activity is the best way to meet new people . I rarely go to the search ads to check someone out unless they have posted something here. Hang in there for a while. I think after this post you will begin to see some results.

I've never seen y'all in the forums. That's how you get to know people around here. I've been here for almost 4 years and just now found what I was looking for! Why am I sticking around? Because of the friends I've made over the years, plain and simple.

I have to agree with Moon. You need to make yourself more visible. Post in the forums, hang out in the chat room. We've been here for a few years now, and we have made some of the greatest friends that anyone could have. Yes, we've have meet some in person also. I compare it to going to a bar and sitting in a corner. If you don't get out and mingle with people, how are they going to get to know ya'll. So just keep posting in here, get into chat and things will turn around for ya.

Re: what's wrong with just making friends?
Hell, even if you are not looking for the community/friends kind of thing here, ya never know, ten minutes after you delete your profile, someone who is a perfect match for you joins...
I recommend just relax and mingle any way you can, people travel for work, people travel for vacations, people move around allot...I mean if someone is looking for someone that lives 10 minutes away from them, do ya really need the "World Wide Web" to do that? Hell..just shut off your computer and walk outside!
Anyway, I'd suggest just keeping a free account here and pop back in every so often, tons of new people join every day.
Also, don't keep yourself narrowed down to just your immediate locality...people do move around and travel allot, and ya never know, someone you make a friend of in the chatroom may have a friend that travels or lives near you...stuff like that does happen!
