Re: Welcome to the Reader's Corner
I'm reading a book called "Who Moved My Cheese", by Dr. Stephen Johnson, M.D. It's dealing with changes in ones life. The characters in the book resemble people's characteristics in society, that include, the mice: "Sniff" and "Scurry", and the Littlepeople: "Hem" and "Haw", representing the simple and complex parts of ourselves, no matter of our age, gender, or nationality. Sniff acts alot like Sniff, who sniffs out a change early, Scurry, scurries into action, Hem, who denies and resists change fearing it will lead to something worse, and Haw who learns to adapt when he sees that changing can lead to something better. A very interesting book... I give it 5*'s!

Re: Welcome to the Reader's Corner
I have read "Who moved my cheese?" I thought it was a pretty good book for people struggling with change. Personally, I like a good western novel (love Louis LaMore) and I also enjoy a good sexy love story. Right now my favorite author is Cassie Edwards. All of her books are indian love stories. I have always been intrigued by the ways and customs of certain indian tribes. I often fantasize about myself being the woman in the novels.

Gawd, how I wish I could live in the old traditional society of the "Old West".

It was definitely a different world then Tica. Like I said, I often use that setting for some of my fantasies.

Fantasies? What are those? This mind of mine goes through grey misty areas, where it's clear at times, then not at others. Could this be related to taking care of both of my parents for the last five months at crucial and deathly times with them?... being the primary caretaker 24/7 from A-Z, along with dealing with two other personal situations, health, and a closure to a personal relationship, guess the book I'm reading will show being smacked in the face isn't so bad, with all of this huh?
