Interesting post, tica. You are right on the money about how vastly different one person's motivation for being here can be from another's. I wonder just how many actually take an introspective look to figure out why they are here and what they are looking for. For me, it started out all about pure wham-bam horniness and looking for someone to chat dirty with right away, but I soon became much more selective and started to crave more of the friendship factor. This forced me to think about what I should be looking for when I am on the site, and I have found that although it is a bit more difficlut to find, it is certainly worth it when I do.

I just go with the flow, and enjoy myself, not expecting anything from anyone, chilln' out, giggling, laughing, enjoying everyone.

Being here as long as I have, I've seen allot of fun and/or horny people make this site (or..any adult site, or just the Internet in general) a healthy part of their lives.
But I've seen much of the unhealthy behavior too.
It's fine for people integrate a site, or the Internet into their life, but when it becomes too large a part of their life, when it becomes an escape from a troubling life, when ones escape overshadows the real world...it's bad news.
Usually it's just a phase, sometimes our lives become quite ugly and there will be things we just don't want to deal with. Escapism is natural.
When someone starts spending way too much time here, or online, when the real world is just some inconvenience that keeps them away from cyberworld, when they wake up and their first thought is too log in, when they can't enjoy or function through the day because all they can think off is getting back in front of their computer. When everything they see or read online becomes far more personal and mood altering for them, when they have a strong, very strong need to be as important to a site as it is to them...it's time to just shut it off and walk away for awhile, at least for several days, even a week or more.
Cyberworld is a great place, great for making friends, great for friendly support, great for diversion and a little escapism...but you cannot live in cyberworld, real world is always the priority.
