Home sweet home
What's your home like? A house...single level or mult-story? An apartment...ground level or several floors high?
Is is spacious or cramped? Do you have a yard, deck, terrace, patio? Any out buildings like a carport, barn, shed, garage?
Do you have neighbors very close or live in a more rural setting?
Is your home any particular style like ranch, cottage, bungalow, modern or does your home have allot of history or is it fairly new construction?
Is it decorated inside in any particular style. Did you choose your own furnishings or are they hand me downs, picked out by a spouse, or maybe your place came furnished?

We rent a single family home. Small, very small, with neighbor's close by, about 30 feet. Single car garage, unattached. Older house that has been added on to more than once. Probably started out as a cabin, many moons ago, and it has its issues. All the walls are dark wood paneling, with dark carpeting. Not my choice. Furniture is all mix and match, with some new and some hand me downs. Pictures and figurines are all native american or are of wolves. But I do have one limited edition print of deer, by Lonny Stucky.

as a "senior citizen" i rent a 4-room apt in a retiree complex. a large living room, my bedroom is average-sized, a small kitchen, but my bathroom is soooooooo small that........................................................ ......................................i just have to step into my bedroom to change my mind !!!.lol

live on the third floor in a one bedroom. gets a little cluttered after the kids have been here for the weekend.
i hate the third floor. the only thing good about being up here? i can walk around naked, with out fear of some dumb kid looking in my window...

Hmm, but what if I've got a really long ladder? LOL
Mine's a townhouse -- living-room, dining room, kitchen and half-bath downstairs, two bedrooms and full-bath upstairs. Never as clean as I wish it was, and furnished with leftovers that don't match but are easy to move, since I seem to have a new address every couple of years.
I hate it.
Not sure why, exactly, but I do. But one way or another, it's gonna be over soon. This job is ending in a couple of months, so it's time to move on. Again.
Maybe the next one will be perfect! (Somebody tell Absix we need a 'fingers crossed' smiley!)

Mine is 100 year old brick, the old outhouse still sits in the backyard, it's been converted to a garden tool shed now, the well and pump are still there just outside the backdoor.
It looks like a big house but actually it's two main rooms upstairs and two more upstairs, the indoor bathroom was added during the 50's.
The yard is huge, sloping downhill in the back, tons of oak and hickory trees.
...and ya'all already know all about the front porch!
The inside needs furniture, got some nice antique pieces but the rest is my hub's old grubbby 80's bachelor stuff.

I've tried looking up Lonny Stucky, can't find anything on him or his work...eh...I'll keep trying!
