Crossfire
What do you do when two or more of the people close to you start feudin' and fightin' with each other?
Do you just try to carry on with all and stay neutral, do you avoid 'em all till they fight it out? Do you let them vent out and bad mouth about each other to you? Do you try to mediate and help fix it?

Re: Crossfire
Why get involved, then you have a three ring circus with others that had no business in the first place opening their mouths and/or getting involved. I hate the game of shhhhhh... he said... shhhhh... she said.... or "Oh... did you see what she said, or he said", shit..., life is way too short for petty, childish games. Their adults, let them work it out. All in all, if you're not involved to any degree, then you can't be blamed for anything either. They'll calm down eventually and work it out within themselves. Keeping a distance and staying neutral is the only way with approaching and dealing with any confrontations with others.

Re: Crossfire
I usually let both sides vent to me because it helps them to cool off but I have learned NEVER to make comments or give advice of any sort.

Totally my stance in this situation...why make it worse by getting involved.

Re: Crossfire
stay out of it unless it becomes physical. if it does, i probably at least try to separate the warring parties and give them time to cool off. with three daughters, this has happened to me more than once..........
