hey, maybe some of us just want to be comfortable? yeah, some things printed on t-shirts theses days, is just down right stupid, but, that does not mean that if i wear a plain t-shirt or my shirt does not have a collar, that i'm a "trailr park reject", it means that i'm comfy.

Ya know....well...you know VB, that when you posted something that puts people down for casual wear and make derogatory remarks (again) about "trailer parks" ....

MOST of us find value and quality in our lives in a very different way that you do...don't blame your parents...you're a grown man and able to think for yourself.

You really don't want to know what the majority of us think of pretentious judgmental people that flaunt overpriced designer labels all while looking down at the rest of us. We don't care to impress those pompous types at all, their shallow materialistic opinions carry no weight with us.

Still luv ya, VB...but I don't need or want to be judged by you for my practical clothing choices that suit my lifestyle...and I do not like stereotypically remarks about people who live in trailers or trailer parks and you know that already.

What reaction did you expect to get from us?

Exactly the reactions I've gotten so far! I'm still sick to death of f*cking tshirts worn on the outside. There's no freakin' excuse for looking like a slob. Sorry for the trailer park reference though!

Don't dress up a lot myself but what I wear is always clean (unless I'm working or have been working) and presentable. You strike me as a suit and tie type or button up, tucked in shirts all the time. Don't you ever just chill and wear jeans and a tee? I've been married to my man for 33 years and when I lose him (a long time away I hope) I will bury him in jeans and a sport shirt. If I dared put him in a suit he would come back and haunt me forever. And by the way, he is one of the most well respected and well liked men in our town.

Oh, I'm very certain that VB was just trying to make his opinion and statement comic, trying to be humorous...but I am truly weary of the trailer park remarks too.

Innocent, maybe check VB's "forum activity" and by reading how he refers to people by their weight, by their professions, etc...and you'll see why some know that even though it may be just his sense of humor, some don't appreciate his humor and some are offended by it...

Hey, I like the guy, VB knows I like him, but when I think his humor has reached an offensive mark, I let him know sometimes through a reply, sometimes by private message.

Well now I'm confused!! Can I keep my Tshirts? Geez I hope so otherwise I'm gonna be runnin around in little to nothin!!

Ya know, I kinda think it depends on where exactly it is that you're appearing. I mean, when I go to Walmart or to the mall, I'm not too surprised to see people dressed in whatever casual getup they like. At the garden store on a Saturday, who expects collars? But in the office at work, where the dress code should be at least "business casual", or when I go to church with my mom on Sunday, my expectations are a bit higher. If you're at the theater or at a formal restaurant, then maybe a t-shirt and jeans might not be appropriate. But what's wrong with being casual at a casual venue?

As long as your wardrobe is appropriate to your surroundings, what's the problem?

Oh VB is okay, he likes it deep...and fiesty!

Right now, I'm thinkin' of gettin' him stinking drunk till he passes out, dressing him up in a John Deer T-shirt, a "get 'er done" camo hat, some Dickies overalls and taking photos...

....and to me, it wouldn't matter if you wore a t-shirt and overalls or an Armani suit...it's what's underneath that really matters!

That's where I'm coming from!
