south dakota
Last wekend eastern SD had a terrible snow storm. 10+ inches of snow and 41 mph winds. Well, I get home yesterday and all the snow is gone.
On the news this morning, the tv had that western SD had a similar storm. So, here I am thinking that "it's better them than us", just as they did last weekend.
I don't find this type of weather amusing no matter where it is, but western SD tends to have much milder westher all winter.

JC...it must have been nice returning home and not seeing any white stuff on the ground. I'd probably be in my woollies all year long... brrrrrrrrrr!

Yes, it was very nice Tica. I do empathize with those in western SD too. storms like that aren't fun at all.

Re: south dakota
But no matter what, regardless of the time of year, stepping outside then getting to your car, you're gonna crank on the heat, then later in the day you'll be cranking on the ac. So to a certain degree its always going to be cold.

Tica; don't you know about SD? It gets cold here once, then stays that way for 9 months.

I have never been to SD, I can't even imagine it being extraordinarily that cold, Oh My! I've lived in areas where it gets below 0, not a consistent below 0, been through a few Nor'easters in my life, still just hard to believe... nine months our of the year. Hmmmm?

Well, have you gotten to travel to any area that's had some nice spring weather at least?

Re: south dakota
Most everywhere. It's not suppose to snow here. I was hoping to mow today and have it over with.
