What'll it be tonight?
In my house, the cooking chores are left up to me. I am retired so I have the time to plan our meals, shop for and prepare them. I think I do a pretty damn good job in the process. Some of the meals are my favorite and some are her favorite but the majority are liked by both of us!
My wife is the working stiff in this partnership and as such she doesn't cook or even offer to cook. Well, thank god for that! She has no inherent talent for the preparation of meals in any way shape or form. Hell, I'm sure her lame attempt at cooking led to my brief bout with erectile dysfunction. Her meatloaf actually glowed in the dark!! But I digress........
Is your spouse the main cog in your household as it pertains to the planning and preparation of meals? How is that working out for you?

Re: What'll it be tonight?
I do all the cooking, but it's a chore, I'm trying to get my husband to eat better and lower his very high cholesteral and it's a battle every meal.
I do alright with the cooking, I was into it allot more a long time ago, now food just isn't that important to me, when I'm hungry, I just want to fill the void.

Re: What'll it be tonight?
Ma does most of the cooking, inside that is, but I do all the cooking on the grill. Sometimes I'll make a potato salad or ring salad if need be. When we first got married, Ma usually burnt water. But its a good thing that she does pretty good now.
