What a deal!!!!
Has anyone had the terrible misfortune to be roped in to a seminar at a local Direct Buy outlet? Man, what a hustle that is! They have you and your spouse come to one high pressure hour sales pitch to join ($4000) a buyers club for the express ability to get discounted prices for all kinds of household amenities such as kitchen appliances and cabinets, windows, furniture ect, only to be privileged to choose from paper catalogs until your eyes fall out of their sockets. You order directly from the manufactures and deal directly with that manufacture if you have a problem with the purchased product or service, with no help from Direct Buy in any way!
I begged off of the initial sales pitch meeting after looking Direct Buy on the internet. All the sites had nothing good to say about Direct Buy!! Everybody warned against that first high pressure sales pitch.
Anybody have anything either good or bad to offer on this subject?

I have seen their TV ads, and TV infomercials...but that's all I know about them.

If you see the commercial again, just ignore the claims! It's a f*ckin' hustle!! The buy in, membership fee or whatever you want to call it, is at least $4000. How much crap do you have to buy at a so called "discounted" price just to cover the buy in fee before the you even can realize any actual savings? It's a freakin' hustle, plain and simple!!!!
