Canned laughter
Canned laughter, laugh tracks...whatever you call those prerecorded bursts of laughter the sitcoms use...I understand that they server a purpose but don't some shows seem to really over do it, doesn't it sometimes get to a level to annoy you and even ruin the show for ya?

Re: Canned laughter
it might be a little better, if the had a variety of laugh tracks, but when you constantly keep hearing the same giggle throughout the whole show, and in EVERY episode? it gets old.

Re: Canned laughter
I'd much rather they would leave it up to the viewers to decide what is funny and when to laugh.

Re: Canned laughter
I have tried several times to watch a show that someone here mentioned as one of thier favorites, but the laugh track is just so loud and overused....I can't stand to watch more than 10 minutes of it!

Re: Canned laughter
The only laughter that works is when a comedy show is filmed in front of a live audience... then you get laughter that actually matches the comedy.
