Thank you for thinking of me II. Where's the respect? I have been taking care of both of my parents literally hand and foot since January, when my Mom sprained her right rotor cuff. She was in PT for five weeks, then found out she needed open heart surgery which took place on March 5th. She was in one of the top notch hospitals in Pittsburgh, and in less than a week when she was released, which I knew she wasn't ready for release, but they still released her. Four days later while recovering home, she took a spill, started having "sundowning", was then placed back in the hospital for another 10 days in a Rehabilitation Care Unit. I've been taking care of all the cooking and meals for them, all their medical/household chores, from cleaning, running errands, everything everyone does on their own. I will be seeing a Dr on Tuesday for my health, which I haven't seen a Dr in almost two years, and I know there are a few things that just don't feel right, and their not just due to stress, so hopefully within another two weeks after the Dr receives the results back from my bloodwork, I'll know what's what, and will proceed from there, it's just been one hell of a day with my Dad and his nonsense. Sorry for venting.

Re: Hello
Hello all. Hope everyone is well and Tica I especially hope that things are better for you. Been there, done that. Hubby and I took care of my mom at home for 3 years. Don't regret it at all but sometimes the stress was almost to much. Finally had to put her in the nursing home. She was there for 1 1/2 years before we lost her. Hang in there hon. And if you need to vent again just go ahead.
Have a hug.

Re: Hello
Doing good today Ma. Very sleepy though. A nice long session of sex makes me very sleepy. Yesterday was hub's birthday and we celebrated a lot.
