Proposed homewrecker laws
Caught the tail end of a rather complex and heated debate on CNN earlier about proposed "Homewrecker Law"
A person can sue the person their mate is cheating with.
I heard quite a few good and valid points for and against this...what do you think of it?

Re: Proposed homewrecker laws
I'll go to the CNN website and check into this, I'm sure every states laws and statutes are set up differently with this, then I'll get to you on this.

Re: Proposed homewrecker laws
I'm trying to find it on the website, I saw it on the tv...if youi find it, let me know, if I find it...I'll let you know!
The two guys debating both made some very good points about the pros and cons...
Pretty lively discussion!

Re: Proposed homewrecker laws
CNN repeats the crap outta all their news shows, I'll have to see if I can't catch it in rotation again sometime tonight and see who's show it was that I was watching..

Re: Proposed homewrecker laws
I don't think it was Glen Becks show, he annoys the crap outta me...very arrogant man! Do you ever watch him? I can sometimes, but most of the time...he's just annoying..

Re: Proposed homewrecker laws
Yep, he's just too...too...condescending maybe? Pompus? Arrogant? He can make some good points sometimes, but...he's just too hard to listen too!
Ohh, maybe they'll run that debate later and I can catch it...
Anyway, the pro law guy's main point is that if you consent to sex with a married person, you should be held accountable for the impact it will have on their spouse.
And the con law guy was thinking more of the indiviual cases and circumstances, like a married man pressuring a co-worker into sex, and stuff like that..

Re: Proposed homewrecker laws
i have a better idea how not to cheat, take a photo of all ur stuff, everything u own, house, cars, bank account, everything, then tear it in half & carry that in ur wallet , just to remind u, if u cheat, u'll only have half...lmao

Re: Proposed homewrecker laws
Ha! That's good! Keep yourself reminded of the consequences!
I do understand that there some who are "trapped" in a very bad marriage, it's usually a man who cannot live separately and pay the child support....or a woman who is threatened with a custody battle and worries about losing her children.
But...I guess it would be harder to cheat, if anyone considering cheating with you knows they could face a law suit...

Re: Proposed homewrecker laws
Wow, I'd have to say I never heard of such a thing. I can kinda see how that would be effective for the one being cheated on.
Just crazy, how they come up with things like these compared to back in the days where hardly anything was a big subject matter and now its something simple as to spilling coffee and getting sued over it.
