help !!!
a lot of you have chatted,joked,flirted and just plain made me feel like a friend. now i have a real problem ,and i can only hope for serious advice from you.... i have two neighbors,one a guy i have known for 50 plus years, the the other a relative newcomer, and female. the gent(a heavy vodka drinker)has a heart of gold,would NEVER hurt anyone on purpose. the blonds chick, is an absolute nutcase ! recently, she got a phone using his name. he did NOT authorize this AT ALL!! when he got the bill, he told her she had to pay it. she was furious,said she knew nothing about the whole deal. later, she admitted to the phone and SAID she would pay the whole bill. tonight,i was invited over to his apt,for a visit to watch baseball,have a beer(or several) hang out, and just socialize. she showed up , drunk as hell,started screaming at him about the bill,was asked,TWICE to leave, then TOLD to leave (by him), and then , turned to me and actually blamed me for "turning my friend against me" !i didnt say or do anything till she got in my face with a fist. unfortunately, i lost it, pushed her back , by the throat, and when she tore off my glasses,scratched my face,the whole thing stopped.i am not really sure how angry i really was,but i did not do ANYTHING ELSE EXCEPT TELL HER TO STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME.please,i understand if you are all upset with me, but this person was drunk,and i just didnt know what else to do. ideas ?????? thoughts ?? codemnations ?? need someone to give me your thoughts................................

I know you, you're a good man...you got cornered, you got blind sided,
I would like to see you stay away from both, till the dust settles, all this phone bill crap...shouldn't be your problem at all..
But most of all, I just hate that you are feeling remorse for the violent part, I really ache knowing you have so much regret about it...but that's what makes you a good man...you have remorse.
You're a good person and should never have to feel this way, you reacted to something that never should have happened to you in the first place.
Sometimes, you have to give up a good friend, for awhile when things in their life are spinning out of control...seriously, you don't need to be dragged down and worry about facing some sort of assault charges cuz someone else is a drunken nut case..

Dave... with any domestic altercation.. and you being the victim in the situation...it is best to walk away from it. You don't know what has occurred under that roof with those two, and what their circumstance or history are.

didnt tell all of the situation (sorry!) when i grabbed her , she tore my glasses off,scratched my forehead and nose and really screwd up my glasses. worse, when i backed off,(the only right thing i did), she actually took a step towards me and laughed in my face, and THEN threatened to call the law. my immediated response was,"go ahead bitch,do that" she took a long look at my face, and left !!!!!

one last thing ( i promise) is the face that those two live in different apartments. he is just a man i have known a long time. she had to move in here due to a ??? disability. not real sure what it is, but i bet its WAYY to high for crutches !!!!

There are a few routes you could go with this Dave, you could just leave it alone, or you could go to the police station and write an incident report, which will not affect you,if you feel you are innocent.

thank you soooo much ladies !!its nice to have such wonderful friends ! i have to add , the thing that i am most upset about is my own inability to control my temper. my only excuse....my buddy was being attacked (verbally) and the bitch turned it on me ! and i happen to love my friends and will NEVER stand for ANYONE abusing them..........................................

I would definately make a police report... she sounds like a total nut job, and its best if u were covered legally if things turn nasty.
