New Shows
I'm kinda watching a new show this morning, an MTV show that allot of classic rock lovers might also like..."Rock the Cradle" it's kind of an American Idol competition for the children of rock and pop music biggies...so far, from what little I've been able to see of it...Joe Walsh's daughter Lucy is kickin' ass...
There's also Eddie Money's daughter, Bobby Brown's son...the show might get kinda old after a few episodes but at first it's kinda cool to see how far the apples are falling from the tree.
Seen anything new lately you'd recommend?

Re: New Shows
I saw that as I was browsing through the channels last night. I might watch it next time.
There was a show on either FX or Sci Fi a while back called Saving Grace with Holly Hunter. It started out real good... then got predictable. She's a hardass, solves the case, gets screwed (literally!), the end.
The new season of Hell's Kitchen started up on Tuesday. If you missed it, the first episode is showing again this Sunday at 6 central on that "reality tv" channel. Then it comes on Tuesdays at 8 on Fox.

Re: New Shows
Elie Stone: nest episode:
A vision of the future prompts Eli to take the case of Keith's former client who has been denied parole; Matt's efforts to win over Taylor lead to the case of two gay chimpanzees.
Yeah, I can see how that might be interesting!

Saving Grace (did you know that all the charactors names are names of towns in Oklahoma or sound like names of towns in Oklahoma?)and Medium are pretty good shows. Closer is another good one.

Re: New Shows
I like "Closer"...
Right now, our cable company is going through some ummm...employer/employee probs...so...day to day, I'm never sure what channels will come through, and which ones will be temporarily gone...gives me a chance to watch things I probably wouldn't have.
I missed some of "Rock the Cradle" this morning, but it's MTV, they'll run the crap out of it so I'll get plenty of chances to see what I missed.
Besides Lucy Walsh, Kenny Loggins son did pretty well, as did MC Hammer's daughter.

Re: New Shows
There is a new series on the AMC channel..."Breaking Bad"
It's about a high school chemistry teacher who is dying of cancer and in a desperate measure to pay for his treatments and provide for his family...he takes up with an ex student to cook crystal meth.....very dark, but a good 6 episode series...
I can really recommend this one!!

you bet your teeth you would.
Lifetime had a great show for a while, Blood Ties, an import from England, but based on a series of books. The first season was great, but I guess didn't get enough ratings, so they didn't renew it. I hope it'll be out on DVD soon, I'll order it from Netflix, lol!

There's one on the sci-fi channel..."Destination Truth"
Pretty cool, a team travels to exotic places investigating legends of beasts and monsters...they usually debunk everything, but it's still very interesting in an anthropology kind of way, to see how these legends came to be...

I sometimes watch the Animal Planet's "It's me or the Dog" ...it's a British show where a trainer goes to the homes of very bad behaving dogs and helps the owners cope...
I see that there's a new season of that lie detector show coming on soon..."Moment of Truth"...does anyone watch that? I've heard some bad hype about it...

Chazzy, that show is absolute smut. I'm not sure if it's all just a put on, but if it's not, I'm sure many divorces will happen because of it... it's disgraceful, I think.

I have not seen the show but I had the opportunity to see Eddie Money's daughter in person at Mohegan Sun Casino in Ct. That girl can really bring it! She is good lookin' and very sexy . Her old man brought her out on stage for a few songs and she brought the house down.

Eddie Money's daughter kinda sucked on the "Rock the Cradle" but Twisted Sister's Dee Schnieder's son was really impressive, however it was Kenny Loggin's son that won the competition.
It was a good series really!

Re: New Shows
I did watch a few of the episodes of "The Two Coreys" last year, just wasn't too impressed, just another one of the much too staged reality shows...the new season started this year and I watched last night.
Corey Haim and Corey Feldman, two teen stars that hit it so big with the classic movie "The Lost Boys" both ended up a huge mess with serious addictions very early as teens. They remained best friends for over 20 years.
Feldman really pulled his life togoether, married and started a family, but Haim, still quite a mess and I just have something about having so much hope for the underdog here, it just seems that Haim may have some permanant damage from all the drug abuse. This season so far, is far more real than the fluffy season 1

How 'bout CRIMINAL MINDS? That show hits 'ya hard!! Graphic and interesting!!
Of course Rachel Ray's cooking show is must see tv for me. Man, I love her voice and no matter if her concoctions taste good or not. I would eat them and then I would eat her!! If any of you men don't think she's hot, then you definitely don't play for the home team!! Same goes for Tanya Memme from Sell This House. If you wouldn't love to have her come stage your house then you better stick to watching Men's Ice Dancing!!
