Good mornin', afternoon, evenin', everyone  
It's been a hell of a weekend  Had some storms roll in again last week... A friend of mine, whom I care about deeply, found 2 of his cows and 4 calves dead on his farm. Lightning from the storm had blown huge branches out of a tree that they were laying under.... Now, I know what some of you might say.. Where was the barn? That got totally destroyed in the storm we had the week before...  Shit happens, right?

Bad news Moon...yep, it's storm season again...got a few trees that need to come down around my house, their damaged and dangerous, one is right there next to our upstairs bedroom.

Quite a lazy day for me today. Watched a little television, slept some, a little more television, slept some. Did get out and ride our scooters some late this afternoon. We each have a Yamaha Vino 125 and have a lot of fun with them.

Hello Everyone! Another busy day on the home front... My Mom was released from the Visiting Nurses today, thank goodness, I'm retired from mechanically taking her vitals, proceeding by calling them in daily, hated that machine  ! Mom starts Cardio PT at the hospital on Wednesday, and will be going three times a week, which could last 2-6 months, depending on her recovery... she is doing much better now, since her surgery on March 5th. What a journey it's been, twice in the hospitals in roughly a month. Tomorrow I'm finally having some of my medical testings done, not all, the worse part is the waiting game, not the actual tests, but this too shall pass, other than that just another busy day here with taking care of my parents. It's so true what they say about when your parents age, the tables reverse, where you are helping them, I love them, and would do anything for them, no matter how much at times one of them is a pain in the

Morning all,
Beautiful day here on the home front. Just browsing last nights postings. I was at my son and daughter-in-laws for dinner. Granddaughter was in a playful mood last night. After coffee guess I will work in the yard some. Lots to do. Hope everyone has a great day.

Good mornin', afternoon, evenin', everyone
We just about got the tree cut down that almost fell on our house several days ago. Stupid hackberries!  Took forever to cut all the limbs out to make it not so "top heavy"... Now it's just a matter of gettin' a rope around it, cutting it, and pulling it a few feet to clear the house. I've cut up and hauled off so many limbs in the past 2 weeks... I look like a cat's scratching post!
I know I'm gonna catch flack for this... "35? you're just a pup! ha ha..."  but I've been noticing that the closer I get to 35, the quicker the grey hair is coming in.. and the optometrist told me yesterday that I've been getting away with reading glasses for too long now... Next week, they'll be a permanent fixture on my face. I'm not complaining one bit, I'm just noticing these things more and more... and it doesn't bother me. People just better not ever expect me to ACT my age... 'cause it ain't gonna happen!

Whoa...what a chilly night! It was nice though with the windows cracked open just a bit to sleep under a blanket with the cool fresh air.
Finally, a dry spell coming up after all the days of gray skies and rain. I've got six packs of blooming plants that need a permanant home in the ground.

Well, we almost broke a record yesterday. Ended up tieing it... got up to 98. Supposed to be in the 90's all week. They say we're lucky, though, 'cause the humidity isn't too high...... pfftt! whatever!

My new clothes dryer that we just bought in Feburary...is getting a service call today...don't that just suck? Worked just great until the day before yesterday, then...no heat at all.
As soon as the doode pulls up in the driveway, the cats will panic and scatter like cockroaches! It's amazing the places they will squeeze into and hide...usually at least one will end up in a tight spot in my entertainment center.

Fortunatley the problem with the dryer was just a part got knocked loose a bit when the delivery men hauled down the basement stairs.
I like hanging clothes out on the line anyway, but some things have to go in the dryer to get rid of the lint and wrinkles, days when the oak or other pollen is thick in the air, or bad weather.

Good morning! The old dog got me up way too early, it's looking kinda gray outside, hope the weather clears off this weekend cuz a neighbor and I plan on doing a plant share, we both have beds of plants that need thinned out.
I love all my neighbors,They're good people.

Rained this morning, but brightened up this afternoon.
Very humid though!!, hate our heat, its so exhausting.
Had a family day and youngest learnt to ride her bike without stabilisers, yay!!

Well we did get rain, not much here had severe weather south of us. one town hit hard with a Tornado. you can see the path it took,some houses are nothing but tooth picks.

We had some pretty bad storms last night, I'm so thankful that so far, tornado season hasn't been too threatening in my area, but I sure feel deeply in my heart for those getting hit so hard lately. It's a terrifying thing...
