Bad moon on the rise?
What? What...what's going on here lately?
I don't know, if anyone wants to send me private messages and explain their unhappiness, negativity, complaints...that's cool, message me...or if you just want to rant and vent....message me
But I am so sorry, the snippy stuff in the forums makes a whole lot of us feel very uncomfortable and just a little put off....
I'm so sorry if I am seeing something in others that I am not seeing in myself...because that is the nature of the human beast.
I'm sorry if anything I have said lately came off as negative and snippy, I don't mean it, I just am under a huge load at home, and often my time online is limited and I just try to get to the point,I'm personally asking everyone to give me the benefit of the doubt please.
I'm so sorry, but for the time being, this is how I feel, I just wanna log in, check for the usual stuff (email address postings, etc) and as far as the negativity among some of you...I'm just gonna let you all snipe yourselves silly till it escalates to a point where absix has to come in and clean house.
I'm so sorry, sincerely....but the direction things are going are sucking the joy right out of logging in here and hanging with friends.

I just wanna add this to that...
Before you jump into a conflict with someone on these forums, please stop and think of these things..
1)Do you feel like maybe you being provoked or baited? Then maybe you don't want to give 'em what they want?
2)Is the person who is offending you someone with whom you can reason with, talk things out, make amends with if things get too heated? Is it someone who is generally nice, respectful but just may be having a bad day, bad mood?
3)Most important...are you getting into a conflict with someone who has a past history here of provoking fights, being hateful or negative then when the heat gets too hot they delete their profile and run? Not sure? Ask around...
If that's the case, it's certainly not worth it!

Chazzy, I don't post here often but I do read the forums,and the things some ppl pop off amazes me. Many's a time I started a reply just to delete it, I stir enough "stuff" up at work. I started coming here for the relaxation and to make new friends ,and for the most part I enjoy reading the forums and going into chat. You and the other moderators do an excellent job here keep up the good work.

Sometimes in my effort to be so civil, neutral or diplomatic about something, I come off sounding real snotty then when I reread it, I have to post again and soften it up some...

I know I tend to aggravate others, but on the other hand, I should't be criticized for my opinions. Nor should they be taken personally. They are simply my points of view. 
I also tend to defend myself when accused of something, who doesn't?

Everyone here, everyone ....no exceptions...annoys the livin' crap out of someone else ....at least at one time or another...that's a fact.
"Opinion" is a word that can be used very loosely to describe allot of things we say, but it's not so much what we say as maybe the motivation for saying it the way we do...sometimes we state our opinion not to be "heard" but as a deliberate attempt to get a certain reaction...to invoke a certain emotion.
There was a time here quite a long time ago when I'm sure many will agree, the site and the forums were "over moderated"....that time was pretty tense for all of us, I know I had my times of crabby and snippy too...but now I think...I hope... we all are so passed all that and quite capable of moderating ourselves when it comes to personal conflicts.
We can moderate ourselves, that's all I'm saying.

As the phrase goes 'everyone is someone else's weirdo'. On a site like this you've got so many different backgrounds, tastes and reason's why they're here. A guarantee of some friction occurring at some point.
Chazzy and the guys do a great job, but it's all our responsibilities to make sure no-one oversteps the line of respect and decency and to ensure we treat everyone as we would wish to be treated.
Thinking before typing always helps.

There were several comments that would be more of a personal "dig" or just plain rude recently popping up about the forums.
Ya'all moderated yourselves very well I think in the "Prostitution" thread, it started to "go there" but ya'all turned it around.
The "Prostitution" thread is not the sole reason I felt compelled to write this post.
Just saying things were gettin' a little bit snippy in several of the different forums, I wanted to request that we moderate ourselves and not let things get to a point where a thread needs to be locked or abs needs to step in. Nobody wants that.

Hey, gettin' a little snippy once in awhile is no big deal really, it's not very nice, but it's no big deal... hell...we all know this...you've done it, I've done it, he's done it, she's done it, they've done it...we've allllll done it!!! No big deal as long as it doesn't escalate into a huge cussin' name callin' drawn out ole brawl.
I can't even count the many times I've gone back and posted after my own post with something like ..

or

All of you do a great job!
Ya help me keep up with the forums, you're friendly and helpful to noobs, you do your part to keep the site cleaned up of pros like escorts and webcam/chat for pay girls, and treat each other respectfully
If anyone wants to do more to help...just show up and be active.
Some things I like to do...I like to send a note everyday to the featured profiles and let them know they are featured on the front page, so many would not even know it unless they happen to log in that day or someone mentions it...I like to send a note to every "new member" that posts a first time in the forum just to say "Thanks for posting and I sure hope you'll be doing more of it"....I love to look over the "Introductions" forum, read the profiles and check out the photos just to see if there's anything there I can add to my post to them to make it a little more personal for them...sadly, I have not been able to do this for a couple of weeks now...just been a bit too overwhelmed.
All kinds of things like this I love to do, but have sadly been lagging behind in.....so if anyone wants to jump in and help out with stuff like that, we'll all benefit from it

The phrase has been aroung allot longer than the song, it simply means that when things and people seem to be suddenly and simultaneously a bit out of sorts, that a phase of the moon is responsible.
Anyway, it seems it was a quick phase, and things seem happy and mellow now....thank you all.

(See....I should have some special sort of keyboard that's that will only work when I blow into the attached breathalyzer and it registers that I do indeed have enough caffeine in my system to type responsibly!)
