Do these Newbies read ....
Do the newbies read the rules and regulations of Web Naughty? Where it says not to post email addresses or personal handle messengers in the forums? Are they real? What the hell are they doing or looking for? If they are looking for a quick f**k... to me, they are not going to find it here. Sorry everyone, just saw something here that stirred me up a little bit.

As I've said for years, "People are stupid, individuals are smart."
Until we know you as an individual, you're always going to act as a complete moron.

The forums get checked everyday, several times a day and a personal note is sent to offenders explaining where to find the rules, and what the consequences of ignoring them are.
To those members that see something and drop me a little note in my inbox so I know exactly what forum and what thread to check as soon as I log in....Thank you, it's a big help and very appreciated.
If I've missed something, just send me a note.

Re: Do these Newbies read ....
Thank you Tica...I do know how frustrating it can be, I logged in one morning just recently and all my time was spent deleting and editing about a dozen posts, plus sending out the "please don't do that.." messages.
I do like that this site has got the genuine kind of membership that makes it "member moderated"...allot of good people understand the reasons for the rules, how important it is to keep the site cleaned up. Bless ya all!

Re: Do these Newbies read ....
You all do a great job!!! You message me when you see something in the forums I need to check, ya'all use the profile report link when someone needs reporting and checked....that means so much...especially when I've had such a bad time this past month with huband in bad shape in and out of the hospital, the old dog being totally dependant on me since his stroke...
I may have the moderater buttons for deleting, editing, and all that, but this site is "member moderated"...you all do a great job!

Re: Do these Newbies read ....
I do very much hope not either Pretty, allot of our now veteran, heavily active regulars here started out as noobs who made a few mistakes but are now well loved, popular and a major part of the community.
So Noobs, go ahead and get your feet wet! Allot of us had the "learn as you go" method and there are so many here including myself that will be so happy to help you find your way around, learn the rules, answer any questions and help with any problems!
Every site is so different about what they allow and don't allow in messages, chat and message boards...and each site is very different in the paying members and non paying members features...if you're not sure, just ask...happy to help!

Re: Do these Newbies read ....
Most other sites also do not allow posting e-mail or urls. They do find there way into profiles on most other sites though.

There are some sites that have special "Bulliten boards" for posting contact info...but they are so full and flooded with vague postings and are pretty useless, very very few ever get any kind of replies...they are usually just full of men saying a one liner like "I wanna fuck a stranger right now so email me at blahh@blah.blah" Pretty much a waste of space and time, but yep, some sites do allow it...some sites do NOT allow any exchange of alternate contact info, even for paying members, even by private messages and they even use keyword searching software to scan your private messages for email addresses.
My thought is...I'm not into noob bashing, if I see a noob who may not be familiar with this sites rules and ways, I try to offer some help..

Re: Do these Newbies read ....
It is a shame when members have to write things to make others uncomfortable or feel they can't reply to comments incase they have remarks directed at them.
New and old members should feel happy to post and reply without under hand comments.
So come on old and new members feel happy to post replys and lets just have fun as that is what life here is all about.
Lets all encourage noobies to join us , then they will be oldies like us!!! Well not that oldie!!!

I feel it might put some off, there are new people who don't read the rules... but some by innocent naivity. Wouldn't want this place to turn into a clique now would we.

Re: Do these Newbies read ....
Oh....trust me dear....I'm definitly fight the whole clique thing...some get pissed when I have to remind them to "curb the hijacking"...cuz hijacking encourages the clique thing, you just end up with little groups that just wanna use the forums to talk to the few others in their little groups...that's just not good...
Some think I'm too big of a bitch about the hijacking, and not bitchy enough when the noobs screw up...
Some of us vets, regs...have gotten second, third and fourth chances for doing allot worse than just posting an email address once...I prefer to cut the noobs some slack and that the forums feel like a warm, open and welcoming place for everyone.
So....curb the hijacking....fun is one thing, rude is another...and .....
DON'T pwnd the n00bs!!!
