Night sounds...
While walking the old dog around the yard late last night, I heard a Hoot owl, it was kinda nice, it was distant enough to be pleasant. I'm use to the big woof woofs and little yipyipyips of the neighborhood dogs, whippoorwills, the neighbor's grandsons little car with the big acoustics going "boom boom boom" several times a night, and the rather unnerving sounds of yet another domestic disturbance from the house down the way(ALLOT of cussin and screaming)
What kind of sounds do you hear at night where you live?

Coyotes, screech owls, hawks during the day... and plenty of barking dogs, of course..... I hope the day never comes when I don't hear those sounds...

Nothing compares to the sound of a lunatic woodpecker who can't tell the difference between the siding on the house and a real wooden tree!!

Siren's,trucks on the main highway,4-wheeler(my dumb ass neighbor riding late)dogs barking at dumb ass neighbor riding 4-wheeler,people talking and sometimes yelling at each other(this don't go on all the time,sometimes it's quiet)

lately... it's waaaaahh waaaaahh and zzzzzzzz.
That first part is baby cries (sometimes) and the zzz part is suppose to sound like a snore when you read it
Oh, wait... did you mean from the outdoors?? PFFFT. Yeah, don't ask me.

sometimes the cats, if I come home late - working nights and get out around 0300, then it nice to blast the music as I drive home with no traffic.
