Things done for love
What are some of the things you've done for love? Have you moved to a new house, a new area, another state or country or have someone move in and had to divide up all your "me" space to make room?
Have you taken an interest in what interest them and developed new hobbies?
Over the years and several deeply committed relationships I've learned to bowl, golf, fish and camp. I've learned to widen my mind to different music, I've learned to cook anything in cast iron kettles and skillets on a wood burning stove. I learned to drive a stick. I've learned to appreciate the comic slapstick of The Three Stooges"... I've been the sole bread winner when needed and put my mate through school. I've taken on the gaining of knowledge of animal behaviour and geriatric care of pets.
I've enjoyed learning their family history.
All things I never would have known or learned or done...if it hadn't been for love....

I dunno, somehwhere in the middle of all that I'd start thinking they weren't worth the hassle :p I've done a lot for love, but I didn't consider it at the time, it just seemed like the thing to do at the time. Didn't even strike me as unusual until it was pointed out to me.

Re: Things done for love
I agree with Hapa. When a person does things for someone they love, you don't think about it. It's just natural.

I think with love comes patience. That is why I learned cheerleading - tball - and all the voices in the dinosaur book. You don't do it for any other reason then you want to be closer to the ones you love!
