Spontaneous Thought Week
Let's declare it "Share a Spontaneous Thought Week" in the forums.
I think sometimes we think too much, too many people don't post cuz they "can't think of a good topic"
Sometimes just a simple observation, an "off the cuff" remark, a simple one liner can spring to live in a very amusing or insight full way...that's the way forums are.
Forums are like living things, and you never know what phrase, thought or word will spark what in who...
Don't hold back, especially here on this site, in these forums where you know you'll be with some of the most thoughtful, patient, respectful people on the internet...it's painless to post!
Don't worry about stuff...stuff like "What if no one replies"...it does happen sometimes, it happens to all of us who post and you'd be surprised sometimes how a topic with no replies can fall pages and pages back only to pop up someday back on top of the front page as a lively entertaining topic. Topics never die, they just sometimes go dormant!
Don't worry about "screwing up"...it just makes you as human as the rest of us...ah hell...I think VoyeurBill holds the site record for being edited and deleted by me and ranted at by the forum masses..and bless his heart, he's still alive and kicking and he still has many friends here!!!
Let it flow, let loose, dive in head first or jump in feet first. Don't worry about "worthiness"...if you think it, it's worthy!
Start a new topic dammit!!
Anyone wanna add anything here? Anything? Anything at all and help keep it bumped up for a bit?

I don't have much to say 'cause you said it all too well!  I do wish more newbies would post. It may be hard at first but it doesn't hurt one bit! I'm glad I finally took the plunge a few years ago.

I didn't think it would go on this long but I love posting the what day is it I am enjoying it and I hope you all are too Some times I have to scroll way down to find it cause no one posts any thing but I find it each morning

Sometimes we don't post tiger, but we sure do read it everyday! I'm always happy to see that you've added on the days lists of holidays every morning.

ha ha ha... i can remember when you were shy.
i found my worry stone.. so smooth and fits in my hand just so perfectly. thought it was lost for good... and just in time for the new job and new daughter. is it too early to start shopping for that old double barrel shotgun to start cleaning on her 12th birthday?

For a Noob, this is the place...I've seen so many other forums that insult directly, post nasties about other members by name...or...what I hate seeing I think the most..are the forums so "owned" by the regulars that anyone new trying to join the community get totally ignored and any new topic they post gets hijacked into a running personal joke by the regs...
This place is so different, you're encouraged to join, you're more than just welcomed and since all of us have had second, third, fourth chances...we are very patient, so no worry about screwing up, getting ignored, getting flamed....we're just a bunch of friendly grown ups that love to make new friends .

A daughter! A baby girl! That's just way cool! You'll both be fantastic parents for her.
