Your opinion please
I have to wonder.
Are the 'cam girls" the current hookers?
Am also wondering since they have so much "online" or cam sex , does it make the real thing undesirable?

there is nothing like the real thing. No cam, no video, no stripper show could ever replace or diminish the real skin to skin contact.

I've done cam work, I've done phone sex work...and work is work...it might be different if every one that paid for the service was a sane intelligent clean person, but that's so not the case...work is work, fun is something I did when I wasn't "clocked in".
I hated doing that kind of work more than any other job I've had, the only perk was setting your own hours and working from home.

Hey, we live in a virtual world. I think the younger someone is, the vouyeristic satisfaction can be obtained from this generation.
I don't think anything can replace the real thing...how could you replace the feeling of your skin pressed against someone's body or someone's breath against your neck?

Oh I wish it had been all about sexual intimacy , normal sexual needs...but the stories I could tell and the clients I refused, flatly refused!!!
Often they are cheap asses too, since it's costing them per minute, they make damn sure they are ready to spurt so the few minutes with you put 'em over the edge.
It's a bad habit of some of the clients after a session and getting off just fine to make unfounded unreasonable complaints just to get a "charge back" which means the girl wasted her time for nothing and the client gets the money refunded to his credit card.
It was desperate times then for me, I did what I had to do...but it's not for me, I never wanna have to do that again.

Most of the "cam girls" i speak of like to use regular sites and get the guys to go to another site. Or, just blatently interupt chat with thier bs.

Webcam sites often promise the girls a bigger site budget for "advertising" and promise to drive more traffic to them...what this really means is that the site owners will buy blocks of profile space on adult personals sites, use the girls photos, write up their cheesy ads, and send out tons of messages to drive traffic to their web cam girls.
I quit one site for doing this...all of a sudden I was getting mail at the cam site that had been redirected from the personals sites from very nice sincere lonely men who thought I was a lonely woman. I didn't even know what sites I had profiles on, what photos of mine were used or what my ad even said.
I felt terrible that these men were being scammed like that...and...NO!! OF COURSE, ABSIX DOES NOT SELL BLOCKS OF PROFILE SPACE TO WEBCAM SITES!
Other webcam sites do very little for their girls in the way of (ethical) traffic driving and advertising...the girls are expected to go troll for it...post their own profiles on adult personals sites, troll with their instant messengers, and get their own clients to bring back to the site. This is the kind that will occasionally show up here, they are usually (I do mean usually, it's not a solid rule) are about 22 years old, (22 is the usual age, but 18 to early/mid 20's too)have some pretty pro looking photos and often will state how they love and are looking for older men . (They know their target group!)
They will always give up alternate contact info very quickly, like in their very first message you get their Instant messenger id.

We really do appreciate and depend on members to help report these kinds of things.

I think there's been a few over the time I've been here, but they're never here long. They don't get the responses. This site has good people on it. 
My favorite was one that tried very hard to get me to watch her on cam. I told her I didn't need to watch her to play with myself. She responded that she'd do that for me. I asked when she was going to stop by.

When I did webcam work, I was always amazed at how many hundreds of men hang out on a pay-for-camchat site, hours and hours trying to get it for free!!!
Then there were the ones that didn't want to pay to watch you, but hey...would you spend an hour of your working time and watch them???
If anyone is thinking that phone sex or webcam chat work is something they might wanna try, send me a note, I'll tell you where to find the job ads, and what to look for in those "help wanted" ads...I can only give some helpful suggestions, I can't choose a company site for you or guarantee a good working experience with the one you do choose.
