eBay boycott today
Wow, I haven't been on eBay in a long time, but today is suppose to be a boycott day.
This is in protest of price rate hikes, and the change that I find most upsetting is now sellers are unable to leave negative feedback on a buyer.
That sucks! You'll have no real way of knowing if the buyer for your eBay auction item has a history of not paying, paying slowly, makes allot of unfounded complaints, etc...
I really think that they buyers and sellers ought to have the equal right to leave feedback on each other...I don't like this one way street thing at all!

Re: eBay boycott today
I've always been happy with my ebaying, buying and selling.
But the user rating and feedback is what made it all good for me.
I never bought from anyone with less than a 98% satisfaction rating and I always read the feedback left by others.
The feedback of the buyer could determine what payment method you'd accept for that auction item.

Re: eBay boycott today
I have 100% satisfaction rating as a seller that I guard with my life...and I've dealt with crabby, unreal, psycho buyers.
But..I've been able to check on the winning bidder's feedback and know whether or to take extra steps to cover all the bases, or to insist on a money order instead of a check. That's what I need to do to protect my rating, my feedback, and keep myself from getting screwed over.
