Old and New
Just something light and fun...
What's the oldest thing in your home, and what's the newest thing?
My oldest thing is a pre-civil library table, hell, it's not worth much, it's been stripped and refinished, patched and repaired but it's old.
The newest thing, the groceries I just unpacked!

The oldest thing in my house now (that I'm aware of because I don't know my roommate's stuff...) is a pocket knife my grandfather gave me when I was 7. It knida pissed me off when he gave it to me because it was engraved with my name, but he couldn't afford to put on more letters to have my complete name on it so my first name is Shn instead of Shawn...
The newest thing in my house would have to be the pizza box from my dinner this evening...

I'm not certain which is oldest, I have this really old cameo hat pin that came from my grandmother's house or a secretary my dad used to sit and do his homework on when he was a boy. He said he thought it was from his grandparents house and was a hand me down to his parents so who knows.
The newest thing...I just left GAP and bought a new pair of jeans. Just moments before the jeans I bought some new panties from Victoria's Secret...but since I'm telling all of you, it isn't really a secret anymore.

The oldest would probably be the dirt in the pot of my mini lemon tree. I dug the dirt out of the ground outside. The newest would be the ink cartridge I just installled in my printer.
