Adult sites, like this one, is how most people meet new online friends. Another way is to use Netmeeting and by connecting to a server,(there are scores of adult servers to try) you can search through the directories of people who are online,the directories will list who has a cam, mic, or both. You can contact or be contacted while logged on to one of these servers.
