The Greatest Love Stories
Eh..the same question we do every year around Valentine's Day..
What are some of the greatest love stories that come to your mind...whether it be in your personal life, famous pairs, infamous couples, fictional from books or movies...
As always, Gene Wilder and Gilda Radner top my list.
Paul and Linda McCartney...sadly, I don't think Paul will ever find another Linda.
Ahh, and seeing Nancy Reagan's bittersweet goodbye to Ronald during his funeral just melted my heart.
My parents, celebrating anniversary after anniversary...I love 'em!!

Re: The Greatest Love Stories
The wonderful love of a beautiful maid,
and the love of a staunch true man;
The love of a baby unafraid,
Have existed since time began.
But the greatest love, the Love of Loves,
Even greater than that of a Mother;
Is the intimate, tender, passionate love...
Of one drunken bum for another.

Re: The Greatest Love Stories
Ronald and Nancy Reagan...I read some of the letters he wrote to her and they were so moving and heartfelt. When he was writing them he didn't know they would be published. I was amazed by this man's love for his wife. They had both been married before but they found each other in a way that is rare and beautiful.
