I'm Confused...
What do all the free members do to connect with each other? The only way we can exchange personal info is either in the chat rooms or with VIPs (or using the VIPs that are nice to us... *thanks lib and juils*)
Or is there some other way to connect I'm missing out on?

Hey, the chatroom is about the only way other than buying the VIP membership.
I'm sorry, but it is not recommended that non-vip's hit up VIPs to relay alternate contact info and messages. If a few people let it known that they do that, so many others will expect it and allot of VIP's would be put on the spot and end up spending all their time here dealing with other peoples messages or spend time messaging people back with a "No, I'm sorry I won't do that"
We can't always be sure that the person someone asks us to message for them, wants to hear from them.
The best thing to do, is have a VIP friend in the chatroom with you and invite the person you want to contact to come hang out with ya'all.
Women here get countless messages from men to "come chat with me right now" and loads of messages with little more than yahoo IDs and email addys...if someone in chat invites them in a way that says "...we're just a mixed company kind of group of people having fun with some casual chat and fun"...you're more likely to draw in those select few that your VIP friend messages for you.

I use to do this quite allot...back when I had more time!
I would go in the chatroom with a template message prepared already that said something like this...
Hey, there's a few of us hangin' out in the Lobby, we're all good, friendly people that mind our manners! We'd love to have you pop in and join us for a bit...it's just casual chit chat, we can talk about anything you'd like to talk about or just introduce ourselves to you!
This works pretty good if there is a good mix of men, women and couples, and if the note comes from a woman in the group, it does ease the mind of the invited women that they can enter the chatroom and perhaps not be assaulted with pleas of cybersex from a dozen horny, drooling begging men...she'll see it more as the casual invitation that it is...
