The crud
Everyone in my office is coughing and hacking, at my children's daycare and school, in the grocery store...it seems to be everywhere. I've done everything I can not to catch it and I'm up two nights in a row with a terrible cough. Aside from everyone being couped up inside at this time of the year, what the heck is going on, it seems worse this year than in the past. Is anyone else suffering?

I've had something twice this year. It wasn't too bad.
I think I'm just vulneralble to flus and colds right now...I don't get near enough sleep, I'm exhausted all the time anyway from taking care of everyone else(cats, old dog, stubborn husband)Often when something is going around at my husband's job, he's like more of a carrier, he won't get it, but he'll bring it home and I'll get it.

I havn't been sick that way. I thought i was having a heart attack after I had my flu shot, but nothing other than that.
There's lots of stuff floating around now--please be careful.  Remember, to wash your hands!!!

Don't worry, your not the only one that the crud hit. Its hanging in our house for far too long. We have had that persistant cough that just won't leave. So if anyone wants it, we'd be happy to sent it your way.

It's going around the schools here, too. Luckily my kids haven't caught it yet (knock on wood!). There were 5 kids absent from one of my son's classes yesterday. It's definitely goin' around.

i usually get it and it lasts almost all winter....
i think i'm gonna create a new season, the CRUD season, form about october thru may...

Twice since the beginning of December, Ive felt a cold coming on and have taken Zycam, which worked really well. No full blown cold at all so far, however for the last 6 weeks, I have this annoying dry cough and runny nose. And even people that I know that had gotten the flu shot have had the same thing. Maybe the drug company should come out with Zycrud.

I'd buy some Zycrud. I had the flu shot, I do every year and it saves me most of the time but this year...yucky! I'm taking that Mucinex D stuff (which you have to give them your driver's license to buy) and usually it keeps it out of my chest but this year I haven't been that lucky. I think part of it is that I started out with weakened defenses so it took advantage of me...darn it!

We've had a bad sickness bug over here and you are not allowed in any public place for 48 hours after it has gone.
The kids at school have picked up on this and keep coming to the medical room complaining of feeling and being sick!!! Bless their hearts.

We have all had it over here since before christmas, so its not just on your side of the pond!!!, its horrendous and comes back to haunt us every couple of weeks!!!,

I'd be happy if I could quit having these coughing fits that are killing my stitched up stomach muscles...it makes for not a happy camper I assure you!
