On my way home...
Tonight on my way home I was kicking back after a long day and heard a song on my radio I hadn't heard in years.
It was "Get Down On It" by Kool and the Gang...I couldn't help but feel transported to another time and place...
What song or music can you remember from your younger years that makes you just want to sing along?

Not a main stream song but itsy bitsy spider always has a warm place in my heart, I learned it from my immigrant grandmother who butchered it with her rendition, but she tried so hard and I always thought it was so sweet. I will always sing it now when my kids sing it because of that memory.

Re: On my way home...
One never knows how much music effects (or is it affect) our lives until we hear an old song that reminds of a incident or episode in our life. And most times we don't remember what was going on until we hear that certain song.

Re: On my way home...
Being 40 isn't as bad as I thought I was going to be. It is a good place to be and certainly shows that you can accomplish anything with hard work.
