Transgenders and public bathrooms
Gainsville is deciding that transgenders are allowed to use whatever public restroom/bathroom they chose to use and not allowing them this choice is discrimination.
How do feel? Would it bother you to share a public bathroom with a transgender?
Should a man living as a woman use the men's or ladies room?
Would it bother a doode to share a bathroom with a doode living, dressing as a woman when his sexual preference is for men (Or a woman living, dressing as a man with a preference for women use a ladies public bathroom?
Should this be only allowed in adult places and not allowed where children will also be using the public bathroom?

This looks like one of those cases where government may be trying to catch up to real life. I'd venture to say that transgenders already use the rest room of their choice and no one is the wiser.

if it comes right down to it i suppose my opinion is check between their legs and send them off accordingly.
i personally welcome any chicks in the mens room along side me... but i KNOW there are perverted fucktards that would dress like a girl and use this as an excuse to go jack off to little girls or worse.

Now that is a good point. Transgender still means you have to officially check the "M or F" box. Going to far beyond that makes it just too hard.

I would doubt that you would even know. I'm sure that a guy dressed as a woman would be using the ladies room anyway, and for the woman dressed as a guy would be using the men's room.

If they are living as a woman, I'd have no problem if they used the ladies loo's. I can't see them and they can't see me in the cubicle.
It must be hard for them to walk into a men's toilet, i think woman are more excepting of some things then men. And before i get lynched by the great men here, i only mean some men are unexcepting of certain things.

A male in a woman's washroom should be okay becuase of the cubicles, a woman in a man's washroom would have a difficult time, and probably a really messy  time using a urinal.

I won't disagree with HBG or BCB but the thing is that anyone who is a sicko will jack off to kids at a playground, etc. Perhaps I don't know enough about the trans gender thing but if someone wants to go the the ladies room, aren't they interested in men and vice versa? I would think if they are living as another sex they aren't going to be interested in the ones they are going tinkle with...
And yes, the urinal thing would be entirely too complicated for a woman to maneuver...and honestly, who would want to from our perspective...
