I'd have to say that we have somethings in common. Movies, races, she works and most important that she is self-sufficient. Not that I'm looking for someone to support me. It'd just be nice to know that the woman wants me for me and not for what she thinks I can do for her.

I guess it was always, are you interested enough in me to listen? When a man shows he is paying attention and responding in the conversation to what I say, that usually made me want to spend more time with them.

If the conversation is great then there might be a chance for the second date....I look to the eyes to see whether or not it is happening. If she has a lost look then I know that conversation isn't what she is wanting or interested in. I do think that a good sense of humor is a huge key as long as it is in good taste!

I once had a date with a guy who asked me if I was interested in Starwars... Despite me saying no, not in the slightest, he still continued to ramble on about them for the next hour or so !  . I couldn't get my coat fast enough!!
