Writer's Strike
Has this been settled? I don't watch alot of TV programs but the ones I do watch are about to go into a tailspin because of the strike. I'd be happy to write for Brothers and Sisters as long as I could share a trailor with say...Rob Lowe...

Re: Writer's Strike
I heard something about it but not all too sure what's going on? I heard something on the radio something about Justin Timberlake and Beyonce, with some awards show... (Grammy's..??) and the writers strike.

i think you mean the "People's Choice awards"...they still held them, but without the broadcast....people still voted for their favorites...
"the Police" were voted favorite "re-union" tour beating out "Van Halen" & "the Eagles", i believe...

Re: Writer's Strike
I read they've reached a tentative agreement. Frankly? For what these people produce, I think they should have been replaced.

Re: Writer's Strike
I'm more into the docudrama type of reality TV...First 48 Hours...Intervention....stuff like that so this strike hasn't really affected me much at all.

Re: Writer's Strike
If you'll notice, the actors are the ones that are the most nervous about the longevity of this writers strike. They are not working and so they are not getting their pay checks. Actually, it's a matter of supply and demand!

What, no Academy Awards broadcast? Oh god no, those fat headed actors can't get all dressed up and hear other fat heads tell them how great they are? The earth might fly out of the sun's orbit! Oh, the humanity!!!

Let the actors start suffering some financial repercussions and then watch all their righteous rantings in support of the writers issues dwindle to "fuck the writers"!!
