Meddlers
Ever had a meddler in your life? Someone just poking their nose where it doesn't belong?
I'm pretty lucky, none to mention lately, but my first husband's mother...what a pain! She actually had a key made to our house (without asking me) then would come in while I was at work and rearrange my furniture, change out my curtians and drapes and leave vases full of ugly plastic flower arrangements all over the place! Ugh...what nerve!

You have to be optimistic, you were getting all this interior decorating done for free!

Re: Meddlers
My first mother in law was a proper meddler. Convinced that we were living on takeaways, (which was only partly true.. )..She would make us some good "healthy wholesome" dishes....regardless of wether we liked them or not. We did have one very happy, tho rather plump dog....lol!

Re: Meddlers
My sister's mother in law is a bit of a c**t! She wanted my phone number and all so she could call and make sure I'm ok all the time, and I gave her a fake number.

Re: Meddlers
My mother and my sister drive me crazy. I could easily go long periods in between talking to them. Everything from what am i doing to my kids, to my kids need "help". You wuold think that I know best how to raise my own kids, but of course they know better.

Re: Meddlers
My sister used to be the meddler. Her family was perfect and no one raised their children as well. Now her tune has changed. Her oldest son is in the middle of a divorce because if his parents hadn't been so judgemental while he was growing up, coming out of the closet would have been no big deal. Their oldest daughter is one of those that is pissed off at the world all the time because her two younger sister's are in relationships and she isn't, she also is very uppity. Their third daughter is great now but boy did she put them through hell with this rebel boyfriend. The youngest one got pregnant and married a man 23 years older than her. My sister pretty much minds her own business these days.

Re: Meddlers
sadly enough,my youngest daughter qualifies as a "buttinski" while she was living with my oldest daughter she would take it on herself to criticize her sister at every opportunity. my daughter finally had to tell her "these are MY children, when you have your own, discipline them"!it finally got so bad that my elder daughter nearly wept with joy when her younger sister left here and went back to Calif. to her husband !!!
