HGTV and DIY
Ah...I just love watching do-it-youself channels and shows.
Everything from gardening to decorating, plumbing to painting.
Eh...maybe it's like tha old joke...I'm not afraid of work, I can watch it all day"
They make it look so simple, these home projects all edited down to a single half hour episode.
Have you ever watched any of these programs and said to yourself something like..."Wow, they actually have a tool to do that???" ....or ..."Oh geez, when I did that I sure did it the hard way, wish I had known then!"
Are you ever inspired to jump up and head to Home Depot after watching?

You betcha, I've broken many a manicured nail by jumping right in and ripping down something...love to watch a room go from one thing to another. It is my passion to create...recreate...LOL...transformation is awesome. I'd love to be on Makeover Home Edition and be one of the decorators...to do something for someone else. To create a home that will bring many years of good memories and laughter to a family in need...now that is what I'd call majory DIY...

It inspires me, yes, but you need money for materials which is usually a hindrance.
You should watch that show on DIY called Cool Tools!

I like the DIY programs. I'd sit and watch them for hours. They give some good ideas as to what products I may wish to look into for more details, and what you may encounter when using the products.

Watched one once and got up with a sledge hammer and started tearing down a wall. I wish I knew what load bearing meant  I would have saved $6,000 having to pay a pro to fix my mistake.
