Adults Only!!!!!!!!!
I just got back from my annual XMAS sojourn to VEGAS. My wife and I had a great time. Lost some, won some.......
As you know, BARRY MANILOW canceled on us and of course I was devastated!!  I somehow found a way to enjoy myself anyway.
My major gripe with the hotel and casino owners is.......why they don't restrict the casinos form the presence of anyone under the age of 21!!! VEGAS is an adult playground, period!! WTF are parents thinking when they drag their children to a place like that? WTF are the kids gonna do while they gamble??????????
They should either take their kids to DISNEY WORLD or a more family friendly place, especially during the holidays!!

Where did you stay in Vegas? Have a short business trip planned in Feb. The more I read reviews of the hotels the more confused it all becomes!

My only visit to Vegas , stayed at Flamingo. It was nice but if I went back I think I would stay in old town. It's only a short bus ride to newer casinos or a cab

I have been there once as well. We stayed at...Hum can't remember the name! It was across the street from the MGM near the Lexor...Anyway it was close to the overhead tram which at the time only had limited stops. Now it seems to go everywhere. Seems like a better way to get to the convention center then the buses or cabs?

I have been there once as well. We stayed at...Hum can't remember the name! BALLYS. We like it because it's in the middle of the strip and it's not where the tourists will be wandering in as in the BELLAGIO or the MIRAGE or even MGM. Only the people staying at BALLYS will be there. It's a lot homier than those other mega casino-hotels. We've stayed there about 10 times. We love it!!!

my first trip to Vegas was back in 1993 , i stayed at the Plaza. didnt have to deal with very many children and my room was nice,clean and quite private. i recommend it !!!!

That's the place Excalibur...It was ok. More a 'family' place with stuff for the kids to do.

Vegas in its never ending battle to shed it's "Mobster" persona has geared its casinos towards the "Family" type atmosphere. But Vegas will always be Vegas.
When I go I usually stay at the Lady Luck, it's just one block off Fremont.
