Titanic was on telly today and it is a film i have never watched.
I don't think they should have made this version. They could have made a film about the love story between Jack and Rose without showing all the sad bits.
It was a dreadful thing that happened to all those people.
Anyway, my question is, is there a film you refuse to watch, and why???

sometimes i watch the heatlh channhel, but everytime they show someone whos been burned i gotta change channels, having been thru a bad burn, i just can't watch it. I know what they're going thru

Not to change the subject,but did anyone read the book about Linda Lovelace and Deep Throat?I don't like watching the hunting chan.I don't like watching them kill the animals,but I'm not against people hunting for food my Daughter and her husband and other members of my fam.hunt for food(not me I've never hunted)what they kill they eat and share with other people.Sorry if I talked too much.

Yep, I heard about Linda's story about that famous movie, I've never seen it, and knowing her story...I don't wanna.
Feel the same way about Tracy Lords "early" movies...I can't watch that!!

There is one movie I refuse to watch, A.I. by Steven Spielberg. I watched it one time and cried through the entire thing. Traded it to a video game store a while back. Technically it's a brilliant movie, but emotionally I can not watch it.

HBG, I didn't much care for the Rose and Jack part of the story, but anything Titanic fascinates me. I've even chosen to do my thesis for one of my current college courses on Titanic and what effect its sinking had on the Gilded Age (known as the Edwardian Era in Britain).

There were two movies made about the planes of 911, I tried watching them, I just can't...it just fills me with such deep sadness to even think about those passengers and what they went through...maybe in time, but I don't think so. I don't think I'll ever be able to watch those movies without feeling such total despair.

You know, I thought about the movie "93" and I'm not so sure the terrorist piloting the plane didn't in fact, steer that plane into the ground undoubtedly from the threat from the pounding on the cabin door from those brave and knowingly doomed passengers.



I watched a programme on 911, and it showed a construction of the plane the passengers managed to bring down. Those poor people knew what was going to happen and they still stood up to those terrorists and helped save other lives by bring the plane down early.
What brave brave people. Very heart rendering

i saw shindlers list when it came out; such a disturbing movie and an important story, so i bought the DVD...never been able to bring myself to sit through it again!
