i wonder
I remember before puters that many single people gathered in bars on holidays, including Christmas. At least if they could find one open.
What I wonder is if the internet and online "dating" sites have replaced the bars. I've seen many more people on sites today than I figured would be there.

It has somewhat...allot of people have come to know the internet as the place where "everyone knows your name"
I think New Year's Eve is the loneliest internet day, the Christmas holiday is usually spent with family, but New Year's is the holiday people seem to want to spend with friends or a special someone...which can make it a little bit lonely for some...

You betcha flp! The front porch seems to be completely possum free now too!
Still got the big stick handy, if he should wander back up, we can take turns pokin' at him.
