Merry F***ing Christmas Ukraine!
Well looks like I'm goin to have to be extra thrifty this christmas...Had A conversation with my bank this morning and It looks like someone from the Ukriane has cleaned me out!
There's A real problem with bank fraud these days, but you never think it will get you if your real careful.
Looks like they waited till my wages (and my christmas bonus) went in and they swiped all of it! Have to be thankful that my bank was on to it within the hour and have stopped any further withdrawls.
Hopefully I will be able to claim this money back....but its not going to be untill after christmas, and I can't use my card until I get A new one (also after christmas).
So......... MERRY F***ING CHRISTMAS UKRAINE!!!!!!!!!!

Your bank should replace all of this money. They should also be able to find out how and who took it. They keep records of all this stuff.
You can think of what transactions you have done online and explore those for possible ways as well.
Sorry to hear this happened.
Hope you have a Merry Christmas anyway.

Re: Merry F***ing Christmas Ukraine!
Don't know how it works over therebut a friend here told me that he donated money to a local charity over the phone, $1,500 was out of his account and out of the country within cpl days. Bank is reimbursing him and police said nothing would be done, their words the bank doesn't care, just write it off as a loss.
Also , I got a call from my investment firm, someone in Beirut accessed my retirement account but couldn't do anything because of restrictions on my acct.
Real scarrrrrry this wonderful internet thing is, isn't it ?
Have to be sooooooo careful

Oh Horn, I'm so sorry this happened to you. it happened to my brother and it was quite a while till he got it sorted!!!.
Why is it that the human being can be made with such vindictive strains in it? it makes my blood boil.

Re: Merry F***ing Christmas Ukraine!
These type of things are not only from Ukraine, but mostly from Nigeria and Coite D' Ivory. That's the Ivory [west] coast of Africa. They are also not limited to the well known areas. They come from most everywhere now, including Philippines, England and even the US.

Re: Merry F***ing Christmas Ukraine!
Don't know tooo much about it but have heard advertisements for this.
Check out lifelock
I don't remember exactly how or what they exactly cover you for, etc but for the price of it, i wouldn't mind doing it myself and for my family just for safety's sake.
Don't know off hand if i'm able to have that website on. If it gets erased, ask Chazzy or someone to email me on here and I'll tell them the site.

Re: Merry F***ing Christmas Ukraine!
Thanks guys I'm still trying to find out exactly how they got hold of my account details...but it looks like its not my fault..seems the bank may have 'miss placed'(lost) A folder full of bank details at their head office (about 500 individual accounts).
Everytime I have A conversation with them it just feels like they are covering their asses!
I will get the money back, but I cannot even get into my account until I get A new account number so I've been broke over the whole Christmas period (my bank has been less than helpful in this matter).
It was just really really bad timing.
Thanks again guys for all your comments and support
