Re: Politically Correct Christmas songs
Personally I don't care what the minority thinks, they're not changing the way i feel. They can go fly a kite or put it where the sun don't shine and if they can't do it themselves, I'll help them

Re: Politically Correct Christmas songs
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that those of us who have enjoyed and loved the traditional "Christmas" songs, verses, traditions, etc are now the minority in this world??? My grandson's were talking this morning about something they had seen on the news about the presidential candidates. One of them had mentioned that it was inappropriate to say "Merry Christmas" lest it offend the minorities. Now my 5yr old grandson is worried if he should say "Merry Christmas" at his school party

Re: Politically Correct Christmas songs
Eh...I personally would not be offended if someone gave me a cheerful "Happy Hanukkah"....and I sure don't mean to offend to anyone by saying "Merry Christmas"....
Different cultures expressing their different celebrations?
I kinda like it!!

Re: Politically Correct Christmas songs
Well I guess this went south. No pun intended. It was my extra super duper dry humor that went arie. I thought the Political Correct version of the songs where indeed funny. I say "tell everyone to have a Merry Christmas".

Re: Politically Correct Christmas songs
ok, now I'm really offended...
if i wish someone a merry Christmas....which is based upon MY beliefs and MY upbringing....and it offends them, then i'm also offended, 'cuz...they didn't accept my greeting. i'd accept it if someone wished me a happy kwanza...

but the worst thing i've heard being told NOT to say?
can't say or use "merry x-mas"...'cuz it takes the CHRIST out of Christ-mas....
c'mon people....
