Pharmaceutical Trust
New or newer drugs....I dunno....sometimes I think with all the years of research and studies that go into drug manufacturing and approval that when a doctor writes a prescription for something kinda new, it's because it's a better safer drug.
But then it seems that so many end up being recalled, TV advertising attorneys start in with the usual "Class action" law suits, and stories about side effects, long term damage and deaths start popping up in the news.
I'm suspicious anymore when a doctor is to eager to push a "new" medication on me too quickly....I'm not trusting enough anymore to think it's because he's read journals, and he's sure of the drugs safety and value, I fear it's because some drug company and it's salesmen have wooed him into it!
Another reason for me to be thankful for the internet....at least I can look up the side effects and other info when I get home!
