Ethical, smart, or lucky?
Hypothetically.....What would you think if you were browsing a yard or garage sale and found something for a buck or so, that you knew for sure was worth soooo much more?
Would you think that it was your lucky day? Would you think that you have a good eye and now it's gonna pay off? Would you have any twinge of guilt or a second thought about it?

Re: Ethical, smart, or lucky?
i would think it was my lucky day, then would feel guilty buying it but when you think about it if you did not spot it someone else could just come along and buy it with no remorse at all so it would make it a bit better buying it, besides i have never been that lucky anyway

I'd quickly snap it up, no qualms. Yup, a deal is a deal.

Re: Ethical, smart, or lucky?
depends who i buying it from. If it someone having a sale because they are incredibly broke and need the money, or it an innocent old granny i would offer more. But someone just clearing junk i would have no problem just buying it

definitely buy!!! no qualms...one's junk is another's treasure..appreciattion for some things is often in the eye of the beholder, regardless of value.

Re: Ethical, smart, or lucky?
I'd buy it, tell them what it was worth, and offer to sell it back for half it's real value
