"Ladie's Nite" discrimination
Oh, another silly frivolous lawsuit in the news.
Somebody wants to sue someone over the long standing and popular habit of bars having one night a week designated "Ladie's Night" saying it's discriminating against men?
I'm sure you all know, Ladie's night means all women get thier drinks real cheap or half price...some kind of drink deal.
Anyway, I always thought that "ladie's night" wasn't created truly for women, it was created to draw in more women and get them drunker and that was the draw and the benifit of the men...more drunk women in thier local bars one night a week.
Okay, maybe that's a little wrong in itself, but what do you all think? Is "Ladie's night" really discriminating against men who want a night of cheap drinks? Does promoting a night of cheap drinks for women to possible drink to excess and wake up with regrets the next day in bad taste?

What a joke. I agree, ladies nite works really works in favour of men too. Not only are the ladies drinking more but they generally just love the idea of partying at letting loose on a ladies nite. I worked at a bar and ladies nite was definately one of the best, most fun nites for everyone. Those guys are probably just trying to prove some stupid point.

Frivolous law suits, silly. I personally would buy a lad drinks if i Met one I was interested in, so in the end I save money. The female friends i go out to party with aren't moochers, would end up buying me drinks also. They are not out to use anyone so we both save, silliness

Many years ago when I worked at a slightly more upscale hotel/restaurant/bar, they also had the ladies night out special. In one of our manager meetings, we pointed out that it was unfair to men, so we then also had a "men's night out" special. The ladies night out was a smashing success, but the men's night out was a total flop, I mean a total belly flop.
So to me, that means another asshole thinks he's due money that he does not deserve.

Now wouldn't you think that men could figure this out? Just pick up a lady..buy two drinks..one soda and one for the lady..and then drink the ladies drink..geez

What on earth is happening to the legal system when they will waste time on such a pathetic lawsuit. If there is a ladies night surely it would be most mens idea of heaven, so many ladies in one place!!!  
I don't think woman will drink anymore on a ladies night then any other night. Ladies nights are just more fun and the ladies are treated extra special for the night.

If i owned a pub I wouldn't have a mens night, I'd go broke and i quarantee the women aren't going there because the guys do. On the other hand being the sniveling little horny idiots we are, where do we go on ladies night. I'll be the 1st idiot in line and the guy suing would be right behind me , gotta love it.
