Hun don't you pay that ticket, that is rubbish about the window. As long as it is clearly visable it is fine. And as you still had time to spare the fine will be removed. Check the time on the fine and if he did the legal thing and put the correct time, it will show you were parked legally.
They assume the person won't fight it, but 8/10 people win against the traffic wardens.
What an arsehole though.

i agree don't pay the fine, fight it, we have wardens like that here as well, if that was me i would tell him to stick the ticket somewhere lol, i wonder if you can guess where

They've recently privitased the traffic wardens here, and since then the number of fines being handed out has at least doubled!
I'd say let them take you to court, you have a winning case and they are counting on you paying the fine and not going to the hassle of fighting it!
It's how they're trained now, sadly.

Hah! that's how it worked before it was privitised!! they alway denied they worked to quotas, as do the traffic police here, but how else would it all hold together?

I'll play the spoiler. No they probably don't have a quota, but they do have performance reviews. What would you use to evaluate their job performance if they didn't write the tickets? How big their smile was?

Hmmmm....the A&E channel is airing a new reality show this season called "Parking Wars"...all about meter maids and parking enforcement people!
I'll have to catch an episode of that!

i say dont pay them dear, BUT count your blessings. if that had happened to you in California and you argued with the officer, you might have been tasered , thrown to the ground and had two or three cops sitting on your head while screaming "GET DOWN,GET DOWN !)..............
